But there are times (as with the post just before this) that the first frame of the gif just looks like an ordinary, boring image that has nothing interesting going on in it. That's what gets shown, and people just scroll past it rather than seeing what was intended to be shown.

I am on mobile, and I cannot star this post. I can't star it from outside because there's no title (whatever, that's always been a thing), and now I can't star it from within.

Also, I used to hover over my notifications in chrome to see which of my posts people liked — it showed the first few words in the url. Now I just get "oppositelock.jalopnik .com/ [random numbers].

Things are changing, I don't like it.
